Air Travel: Will you be quarantined? | Cyclone Amphan batters Bengal | The Newshour Debate

On the Newshour Debate Special Edition today, Times Now’s ground on all the states and what would be the requirement when you travel to those states

– Kerala: Mandatory quarantine for 14 days exception for people travelling for business
– Assam: Mandatory quarantine for 14 days and ruthless quarantine for all incoming passengers
– Karnataka: Quarantine for high-risk states which includes Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh & Delhi. There will 7 days quarantine followed by home quarantine
– Punjab: 14 days home quarantine for all
– Jammu & Kashmir: Institutional quarantine for 7 days
– Madhya Pradesh & Gujarat: No quarantine for asymptomatic patients & passengers
– Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu &New Delhi is yet undecided on the quarantine period

Cyclone Amphan: It’s been 72 hours when the cyclone has battered the state of Bengal. electricity & Water Supply is yet to return to the capital city of Kolkata. Frustrated citizens have assembled in protest against the apparent civic apathy. CM Mamta Banerjee has sought help from the armed forces.
